Steve Martucci, Vice President of Operations

Steve has been a vital part of the PFI team since 2003. Since then he has risen through the ranks from Account Manager, followed by Sales Director, to his current position as Vice President of Operations. His duties require his personal daily involvement in virtually all aspects of PFI’s scope of services - bids, installation, procurement, scheduling, as well as all other services PFI provides.
Steve has a long history in the landscape industry, starting with his first high school job at a small Brooklyn nursery where he developed his passion for greening the city. His experience at PFI has provided him many of the skills he uses in day-to-day operations oversight, including urban mobilization, excellent customer service, plant knowledge, and resourceful problem solving. He has been involved in the project management of many of PFI’s installations, including Grace Plaza, Gotham West, and Fordham University School of Law.
Steve provides a generally unflappable presence, and adeptness at dealing with challenges that is greatly appreciated by those who work with him. His co-workers also enjoy when he gets the occasional shipment of a new radio-controlled car to drive around the office. Steve is the happy father of a charming little girl.
